•Odense is one of the biggest cities in Denmark – a city of culture with many sights. •The city is a very active and modern city, where many events take place throughout the year – especially in the summer, where outdoor activities create an extra atmosphere in the city. Here are many experiences such as music, theatre and entertainment for big and small ones at the squares of the city, scenes, the pedestrian street, cafées and wine bars, and it is often free of charge.

• Among the sights in Odense you will find H.C.Andersen Museum,The funen village(is situated ten minutes from the campsite), Odense Zoo, Danich Railway Museum, The Time Collection and The Iron Village.www.visitodense.com

• Are you going to shop, there are many wonderful pedestrian streets in the centre (don’t forget the small sidewalks) with cosy shops, cafées and restaurants. Do you prefere shopping centres, the Rosengårdcenter is situated only 3 km from the campsite.

• Do you need to relax on the beach, there are several beaches about half an hour’s drive from Odense. Among others at Kerteminde and Nyborg.

• If you like walking/biking, there are many possibilities, as there are around 300 km of paths for walking/biking in Odense and its surroundings. Among other things you can go on your bike or walk from the campsite at paths through the forest along Odense Å (stream) and right through the Zoological Garden to the centre of Odense (around 5 km).

• Odense is situated in the middle of Funen, there is about half an hour’s drive from here and out to the different seaside towns, where there are also several interesting sights, among others Egeskov Castle (www.egeskov.com) and ( www.fjord-baelt.dk)
